Took me one day to install the water auto feed system, now I can have Freo mop entire floor daily when I am out working without having to refill fresh water and to dump dirty water by hand. I have used about 20 robot cleaners in 10 years. Finally a perfect solution: everyday 8:15am Shark robot starts vacuuming the whole floor, takes about 4 hours to finish, then 12:30pm Freo starts mopping, takes about one and half hours. I donтАЩt have to touch any of these machines! SharkтАЩs bagless dirt container holds about 60 daysтАЩ dirt. With Shark and Freo, just setup and forget, perfect!

I've done so much research on these things - I swore by my shark robot vacuum, but this one takes the cake! It's pricey but worth every penny. So easy to use, to clean, and really fast too. While it took my shark robot close to an hour to just vacuum... it only takes this thing 30 minutes to vacuum AND mop about 700 sqft. If you're researching, THIS is the one. Love it!

The Narwal Freo vacuum cleaner is truly remarkable! It's surprisingly quiet during vacuuming but picking up nearly all the dusts on the floor. And when it comes to mopping, it does an even better job with its spinning mops, and I can set different mopping level to accomodate my needs. Overall a nice all-around robot.

I love that is vacuums and mops in the same cycle, no need to switch parts in between. Very quiet and doesn't use a ton of water when washing the floor. It doesn't ram into things like my other robots have. Would buy it all over again, and definitely recommend to friends and family regardless of the price because it is worth it!

So far so good. It did its initial mapping, vacuuming and mopping and has been doing its nightly routine with no issues for 4 days now. Works like a champ. Isn't the best at vacuuming area rugs. But the the laminate and tile flooring are excellent. It gets corners and edges surprisingly well. If there are large chunks like a cheerio or cornflake or something, It has a hard time with it because the brushes launch it away into an already cleaned area so it gets missed. If it's light debris, often times the brushes launch them away instead of sweeping them to the vacuum.

The Narwal is just SO SMART! Full disclosure...I love robot cleaning devices. I have owned more than 2 dozen over the past 2+ decades. I endured the dumb robots of the 90s and liked them. I hate cleaning and don't want to get my hands dirty. I have been waiting for years for the "everything" robot that could really keep my house clean. I am pretty sure that my ideal still doesn't exist yet. But Freo is as close as it gets. I have 3 devices that both vacuum and mop and Freo is the only one that I just don't have to mess with. Ever. I dump out the dirty water tank and fill up the clean water tank and let Freo do it's thing. I do have to occasionally dump the dust bin. I also do have other robots that I use for heavy vacuuming. There are lots of inexpensive competent robot vacs. I have dogs and I do let the cheap vacs deal with the dog hair. I'm sure Freo could handle it though. You would just have to dump the dust bin more often.

Things I enjoy when using this robot:
1. Minimalistic design - goes well with the style of my apartment
2. Hands-free features - adding cleanser automatically; washing and drying mops automatically; Freo mode that automatically adjusts cleaning strategy based on different conditions. It would be nearly 100% hands-free if the robot could auto-empty its dustbin.
Above average mopping - I have an old Roborock S7+ that also mops, but I believe the pressure it exerts on the ground isn't strong enough that I always need to mop again by hand in the kitchen area. The Freo, on the other hand, apparently exerts much greater pressure on the ground that, once it finishes mopping my kitchen, there are barely any obvious stains on the floor.

We run our Narwal every morning to keep our downstairs clean! It is easy to set up and I love that you can set a schedule and it will run on its own. It is so worth it to have it vacuum and mop, we couldnтАЩt be more happy with it. It is both gross and satisfying how dirty the water is. We refill/empty the water and vacuum every week. We have a collie, so there is always lots of hair! The only issues we had were when the side brushes needed to be replaced due to age/maintenance. It has had no problems mapping our downstairs, including rugs and obstacles. We also havenтАЩt had issues with it going over things it shouldnтАЩt.

I really do hate to mop. When I read about this, I thought тАЬgame changerтАЭ. Freo robot cleans the floors very well. Only average with vacuuming. But I donтАЩt mind cause my floors are so clean. IтАЩm thinking about purchasing a second one for the second floor!

The Narwal does a great job with vacuuming and mopping between our deep cleaning. It does a wonderful job mapping out the floor and can tell the difference when it's on hardwood carpet. Maintenance is super easy and is kept in the app to let you know what needs to be done from hours of use. All you have to really maintain is emptying out the dust bin, clearing out the dirty water from mopping, and refilling the clean water jug. Super happy with this purchase.

I have been full of anxiety about dirty floors as long as I can remember. I got an ILife vacuum a few years ago and that started to ease some of the eagerness to clean the floors several times a day, but my husband would always turn it off since itтАЩs loud, and there was no remote option to do it when youтАЩre out of the home, so you had to press start when you left.
