How nice to sit down and quickly press bedlinen. It takes a bit of planning as you have to fold whatever you're pressing to fit the board. Theres a handy space at the back of the board to tuck excess unironed fabric. Lift the handle, smooth layers of fabric over the pad, pull handle down, raise it again and pull fabric forwards to do the next part. simple and very quick. 5 metre long tablecloth is getting used more now that it's not a problem to iron. tee shirts are easy, but I found button up shirts a bit fiddly - do-able but not as quick as flat shapes. I don't think it will completely replace a traditional iron and board, but it's a very good addition to your equipment. Useful for pressing seams too.

After buying this I have away my steam iron and ironing board.

The hardest part for me was working out the best technique for ironing the yokes. For the sleeve I slide a cardboard cut out down them so to keep them straight whilst pressing.

Do you remember that clanking bit of metal in the cupboard - reluctant to go up and a devil of a job to put down? This little wonder from Singer does the job of clearing the ironing basket in a fraction of the time. Sheets, shirts, trousers, even the dog (he's now a flat-coated retriever) succumb to its hissing efficiency. It takes a few goes to get it right and it pays to fold the way you want things to come out before putting them into the machine, but once mastered it results in beautifully pressed garments. Fitted sheets are a pain even with a conventional iron and with this machine, it's no different - just quicker. So, a good buy? Undoubtedly in my view, worth every penny.

So far works as advertised. It doesn’t have the largest pressing surface but I don’t have room for anything larger. Heats up fairly fast and presses nicely. I use it primarily for bag making and ironing on interfacing and stabilizers.

This beautiful piece arrived yesterday and of course I tried it out straight away in the evening. I couldn't resist stopping time either. It didn't take me a minute to make a t-shirt and of course I also tried out a shirt and it worked very well. The box was wet and broken, but the device was packaged very well, so it wasn't that bad. The device came with a CD, but it is self-explanatory. Different levels can be set with silk, cotton, etc. Steam can be selected automatically and manually. I'm really excited for the first day. The rest is immediately pressed away and then everything is finished. Now laundry is fun again. Thank you very much
